He is the firstborn son of Slash, Alpha Male of the Hawks. He has two brothers, Needles and Fox, and a sister named Marigold. He speaks out against his father when Slash is punishing Thistle for cowardice. Slash kills Thistle, then turns on his son. He gives Blackberry a rogue's ring, telling him the only thing standing between his death is that he is his son. He then drives him out of camp.
